How It Works
DepthLens leverages the WebXR Depth Sensing API and Meta Quest 3's built-in depth sensors to create a real-time proximity filter for your mixed reality view.
Depth Capture
Meta Quest 3's depth sensors capture a real-time depth map of your environment at 72fps.
Distance Analysis
Each pixel's depth value is compared against your configured threshold (default 5m).
Selective Occlusion
Objects beyond the threshold are occluded with a dark overlay, leaving only nearby objects visible.
